Below are the steps on how to access LodeStar within Encompass Partner Connect (EPC). Before you are able to utilize LodeStar within EPC, you need to set it up. See steps here on how to do that first.
*Before you run LodeStar, you need to have an open loan file with the required fields filled in.
Step 1: In the bottom left hand corner, go to the "Services" tab and select "Order Additional Services".
Step 2: In the pop up window, select "LodeStar Closing Cost Calculator" from the "My Providers" tab and click "Submit".
*If you have not accessed LodeStar before, you will need to go to "All Providers" first and click "add to My List".
Step 3: LodeStar's Loan Estimate calculator will open up in a separate window with the loan information entered in automatically. Select your Title Agent within the "Service Title Agent" dropdown and click "Calculate".
Step 4: The closing cost details will appear with title fees, insurance premiums, transfer taxes and recording fees. Click "Export to Encompass".
Step 5: The fees will be exported to the 2015 Itemization Form.
