How does the "Appraised Value" affect the quote?
The appraised value will affect the transfer tax amounts and only in cases where the appraised value is greater than the purchase price. LodeStar will calculate the transfer taxes off of the appraised value when it is greater than the purchase price. If the purchase price is greater than the appraised value or there is no appraised value present, we will calculate transfer taxes off of the purchase price.
*For Encompass, we currently pull in the appraised value from field 356. For Stargazer and Enterprise tiers, we can use a different field to pull the appraised value, if requested.
