• Columbia, PA - Columbia County, PA added a $15 demolition fee to their mortgage and deed recording fees (2025-06-01)

• New Jersey - New Jersey "Mansion Tax" is moving from a flat rate of 1% on considerations exceeding $1 million to a tiered rate ranging from 1% up to 3.5% when the consideration exceeds $1 million. (2025-07-01)
• San Jose, CA - Effective July 1, 2025, the transfer tax exemption has increased to: If a consideration is less than or equal to $2,300,000: No tax. If a consideration is $2,300,000.01 to $5,000,000: 0.75%. If a consideration is $5,000,000.01 to $10,000,000: 1.00%.
