LodeStar will automatically increase the page counts to account for certain riders on mortgages. You will see this increase in the recording fees section within your LodeStar calculator.
Below are the number of pages that will be added onto the mortgage depending on the specific criteria:
- ARM – 5 pages
- Condo – 3 pages

PUD – 3 pages
- 4 pages in MO
- 1-4 Family – 4 pages
- Manufactured Housing – 10 pages
- Second Home / Investment – 2 pages
As you can see above, all of these riders are based on the the loan type or the property type. This is how LodeStar will know which riders need to be added, based on what is identified within the loan file.
For Encompass lenders, we will reach from these required fields. For Byte, we will read from these fields: AmortizationType and SubjectPropertyType.
