Quoting closing costs through our in-house managed database is all we do. If our quotes weren't accurate, we'd be out of a job. We're immensely proud that only 1 out of every 22,000 quotes (based on 2022 data) results in a cure. Not only do we want to save everyone as much money as possible, we take our promises seriously.
This article explains the steps of LodeStar's cure reimbursement process and the documents that are needed. Please note: We only reimburse cures for files that have closed. Cures to tolerance are paid in the form of a bill credit on your next invoice. This service is only available on our Enterprise level solution.
Step 1: All requests for cure reimbursement are processed via email. Please contact LodeStar Support at firstname.lastname@example.org to open a request.
Step 2: You MUST include the following in your email, either as an attached document or a screenshot:

Step 3: Once LodeStar has received your documents and cure reimbursement request, we will evaluate and research the cure. This process usually takes 5 to 7 days. If the cure is caused by LodeStar, we will reimburse you in the form of an invoice credit. That credit will be reflected on your next invoice. If an underlying issue related to this cure affects more files, we will let you know as soon as possible.
